Class 3 Course Information

Class 3: 18 Speed Manual Transmission

Mandatory training for drivers looking to operate Class 3 vehicles such as dump trucks, garbage trucks, and heavy-duty tow trucks. This program builds the skills, awareness, and confidence needed to safely operate multi-axle commercial vehicles.

Pre-Requisites

Prior to Registering for the Class 3 Program you must: 

Class 3 Learners License can be obtained by studying the commercial driving handbook available here at Highcountry or any ICBC licensing office and completing the knowledge test at any ICBC licensing office.
 
The Airbrakes course is available at HighCountry Driving School, Airbrakes is a separate Two day course with a Knowledge test to be completed afterwards at any ICBC licensing office. This is why is must be taken separately and prior to registering for the Class 3 Program.
